Phosphate Reduction Treatment 

Hydrovida develops a line of safe, specially formulated chemistries to use in bodies of water to reduce phosphate that may lead to eutrophication and harm aquatic life. Hydrovida's phosphate reduction chemistries are fast, effective, biodegradable and provide good nutrients for the aquatic environment to help daphnia, fish and other pond or lake life thrive. 
In addition to phosphate reduction chemistry, Hydrovida has proprietary chemistry that helps feed proper nutrients to diatoms in pond systems. Diatoms are an essential part of a healthy freshwater or brackish water ecosystem. Hydrovida's chemistry helps feed diatoms essential nutrients they need in order to proliferate. This creates a competitive inhibition over harmful algae such as single cell algae and filamentous algae which can bloom and decay rapidly leading to eutrophication. Providing the correct chemistry to help diatoms survive helps reduce phosphate levels while also reducing the amount of harmful diatoms in the aquatic environment.
